The Inspiration Behind the Connecto™ Set
Every great invention begins with a problem. For Farco ToyCo LLC, it started with a simple question: what if toys could bend, move, and connect in ways that sparked limitless imagination? This idea led to the creation of the Connecto™ Set, unlocking endless possibilities.
The Problem and Early Attempts
Connecto™ was born from a challenge the inventor faced as a young boy in the vibrant 1980s. Action figures were fun but could not connect with building blocks. Bendable toys could pose, but made poor action figures and did not integrate with blocks. And trying to bend or move building blocks like a toy often led to broken sets. It seemed impossible to bring these three types of toys together until Connecto™.
The first attempt, Farco-Proto 1, added bendable movement to toys but did not fully solve the problem. While promising, it highlighted the need for a better way to combine flexibility, movement, and building block compatibility.
Innovation and Breakthrough
Farco-Proto 2 improved on movement by spacing solid plastic components along a single bendable wire. However, the set screws could not withstand repeated play, marking another challenge to overcome.
Finally, on November 16, 2021, Farco-Proto 3 became a reality. The inventor designed a toy that could bring multiple types of toys together, creating Farco Connecto™, a U.S. and foreign patent-pending innovation.
To make building blocks bendable and posable, the Linksys™ block was created. It connects XP™ components while keeping them integrated with blocks. The Apex™ provides a stable foundation, turning every figure or structure into a fully interactive, posable creation.
Imagination in the Making
Something playful is on the way. Farco ToyCo is crafting a new line of thoughtfully designed toys that spark creativity, curiosity, and fun. Our products aren’t available just yet. They’re coming soon.
